Developing Debating Skills (all ages)
In Lesson 3, we thought about how we can use Stakeholders to strengthen our arguments in debating.
As a recap, a Stakeholder is someone who is affected by the motion – this could be an individual or groups of people.
Print and cut out the Motion Cards below. If you don’t have access to a printer, just copy the motions onto some paper then cut out.
In partners, one person needs to choose a motion and think of a Stakeholder in that debate. Your job is to describe this Stakeholder to your partner without saying their name whilst your partner guesses! Swap over and see who can guess the most correctly using the different motions!
